Poor printing
Old Review: When I try to print (the only conceivable function for this app), I get a message that says “this application is not allowed to print. Please contact your application vendor for an update.” Please fix this and I’ll give it 5 stars (giving two stars for now because syncing works well so far). When I print, I have to increase the scale to 130%. Also, the print settings page is so poorly optimised that setting a page range takes a minute. This app’s bugs make it take about five minutes to print my notes. If the developers fix this, I’ll give five stars. There should also be an option to “print a range of pages” rather than only having “print this page” and “print all.” This would speed up the export process.

Not up to IOS
I know it’s a work in progress and has been requested for a while, but it was released too soon. I’ve used the IOS version for years and couldn’t live without it. Several come close, but none meet my needs. I used the Mac beta and was surprised when they released it as-is. IOS has hyperlinks that Mac lacks. In the beta version, I could type text into the Mac version; I can’t do that now. The Mac version is currently useless to me. This restricts me. I’ll keep going because I know what it’s capable of, but it’s not there yet. I understand Mac is structured differently than IOS. I’d hate to see you lose customers who buy a Mac and think that’s it.

Worth the effort
GoodNotes is my favourite note-taking app. I’m having trouble typing in the mac app. I’d like to take notes on my Mac app if that’s fixed soon. A few bugs remain, but they’re being fixed in updates.

This one is best
This app is well-thought-out. Mostly for teaching and presenting. I import slides, make new ones, and make lessons. Excellent cross-platform support. I can grab my Mac and see my 2 minute-old notes. This app’s graphics are lacking. I wish Notes had an emoji and graphics library like other apps. It’s worth it.
